Earlier this month, a rare spectacle unfolded as three Ferrari Monzas graced the open road, captivating onlookers with their unparalleled beauty. Sculpted by the wind, the Monza series embodies design purity, presenting an aesthetic that is simultaneously futuristic and a respectful homage to Ferrari's illustrious past.

The engine in the Monza SP1 and SP2 is derived directly from that of the 812 Superfast, with optimized fluid-dynamics in the intake ducts to deliver even higher performance.

Inspired by the barchettas of the 1950s, which saw victories in international motorsport by both official works team drivers and gentlemen drivers, the Monza SP1 and SP2 pay homage to this legacy. The term "barchetta" was coined by Giovanni Agnelli upon seeing the open-top version of the 1948 166 MM, likening it to a small speedboat. This iconic model, along with others like the 750 Monza and 860 Monza, served as inspiration for the names of the new Monza series models, cementing Ferrari's enduring legacy in automotive history.
