2005 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

The name of this model alone carries a magnitude of Ferrari history by commemorating the collaboration between Ferrari and the artisan coachbuilder Scaglietti, dating back to the early fifties. Designed by Pininfarina, the shape of this model is heavily inspired by the 375 MM Berlinetta Aerodinamica, famously commissioned in 1954 by film director Roberto Rossellini for actress Ingrid Bergman.

The model designation was previously used in the late sixties for the 612 Can-Am in the Challenge Cup series and refers to the very potent V12 engine with a power output of 540 hp.
