The 296 GTS combines Ferrari’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with plug-in hybrid technology for a combined 818 horsepower, delivered through an 8-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission. Its retractable hardtop brings open-air driving to the 296 platform while preserving the performance and proportions of the berlinetta.
The Nero exterior gives this example an especially purposeful appearance, contrasted by yellow brake calipers and Scuderia Ferrari shields. Black ceramic exhaust pipes, a matte black rear Prancing Horse, and satin-finished Prancing Horse and Ferrari badging continue the dark exterior theme. The car is also equipped with the front suspension lifter, rear radar, and electrochromic rearview mirror, adding useful everyday functionality.
Inside, the Pelle Bianca special leather creates a dramatic contrast against the Nero exterior. The sculpted racing seats feature carbon-fiber shells and embroidered Prancing Horses on the headrests, while additional carbon fiber extends through the upper tunnel trim and steering wheel with LED shift lights. The specification also includes colored inner details, special leather trim, and black leather/Alcantara carpeting.
The 296 GTS uses Ferrari’s electrified powertrain to combine the response of its V6 with electric assistance. Its 7.45-kWh lithium-ion battery, eManettino, electronic Side Slip Control (eSSC), ABS Evo, and Transition Manager Actuator form part of the sophisticated vehicle dynamics package beneath the car.
